Hi All,

We're running ClamAV 0.80 under FreeBSD 4.10R, using the sendmail milter.

Just recently we've had clamd die a couple of times, syslog records:

"
Dec 8 16:52:34 devbox /kernel: pid 5453 (clamd), uid 106: exited on signal 4
Dec 8 16:52:34 devbox clamav-milter: clamfi_eom: read nothing from clamd
"

Since then I've turned on a lot more debugging options, i.e. in clamd.conf I've enabled:

 LogClean
 LogTime
 LogVerbose

Now starting Clamd gives a lot of debug info, but the clamd.log file just produces:

"
Thu Dec  9 16:49:58 2004 -> Accepted connection on port 54718, fd 9
Thu Dec  9 16:49:58 2004 -> stream: OK
"

For every message processed through the Milter.

I'm hoping this will be enough to catch it if it Sig4's again - have I missed any options, or has anyone else seen anything like this?

Cheers,

-Karl
