Well, really, it looks like something sendmail is failing to do.  Here
is how I call it in sendmail.mc here:

INPUT_MAIL_FILTER(`clamav', `S=local:/var/run/clamav/clamav-milter.ctl, F=, 
T=S:4m;R:4m')dnl
define(`confINPUT_MAIL_FILTERS', `clamav')

Those two lines may wrap, but it is supposed to be two lines.
