I use clamav on a windows XP box. I call clamscan.exe from an MTA (Mailenable). Since about 18 hours ago I have noticed that when it is called clamscan hangs, using 100% CPU. This started whilst I was in the middle of programming some extras into my MTA event, so naturally I assumed I broke it :-( So after uninstalling, re-installing clamav, cygwin, etc etc etc I found if I remove daily.cvd everything goes back to normal! As soon as I run freshclam it all hangs up again.
