Also make sure you have FixStaleSocket set in clamav.conf - it should be by default. Let me know if you have problems after doing this - I don't run it that wat myself, all the work was done for someone who did want to run it under daemon. Since I haven't gotten a bug report from them recently, I have to assume it's working, but let me know.
"Stephen Gran" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Stephen, Just one small problem - I got an "error state" message when I rebooted my machine and logcheck sent a message to root immediately after reboot. I think that the init scripts need to be in the correct order to avoid this. It now works fine with the following: debian:~# ls /etc/rc3.d S10sysklogd S19cupsys S20makedev S20stunnel-pops S22clamav-milter S89atd S91apache-ssl S11hotplug S20clamav-daemon S20samba S20usermin S25sendmail S89cron S99rmnologin S11klogd S20inetd S20ssh S20webmin S30stunnel-imaps S91apache ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE.
