Before trying that, ensure that you have AllowSupplementaryGroups
uncommented in your clamav.conf file. I also have User clamav in there
so that Exim calls clamav which runs as itself and not Exim.

I have Exim 4.41 and Clamav 0.75.1 running quite happily together.
