If you don't like the software, and are unhappy about how much you paid for it, contact the Clamav team and ask for a job.

ERROR is not a file name :)
It's the scanning result : ERROR, which is not OK.

so redo the message. It looks like a file name.

change /root: Can't access the file ERROR
to
ERROR: cannot access the file /root

Simple!

Or even:

scanning /root: Can't access the file. ERROR

Makes a HECK of a lot more sense to me.
