[Clamav-users] clamav-0.73 multilog to stderr on redhat 9

Hello all,   I have recently upgraded from clamav-0.60 to clamav-0.73.  I have clamd running under supervise and multilog setup as per the instructions and long mailing list archive, thanks all for the documentation.  I also checked and 0.73 has Dale’s patch for stderr output, however, when I put the LogFile stderr directive in the clamav.conf file, I get the following error:   ERROR: LogFile requires full path.   My /dev/stderr (on RH9) is a sym link to /proc/self/fd/2 which won’t let me open in append mode.  I do have the Foreground directive in the clamav.conf file as well.   I get no output on STDERR (syslog output and clamd with clamdscan are working great – logging to syslog but I prefer multilog).  Here is all I ever get in my /var/log/clamd/current file:   @4000000040d05acd0438297c server ended; result=0 @4000000040d05acd04383534 free() copt @4000000040d05f613a496cc4 server ended; result=0 @4000000040d05f613a49804c free() copt @4000000040d05f75167c188c server ended; result=0 @4000000040d05f75167c2c14 free() copt @4000000040d0600529f562ec server ended; result=0 @4000000040d0600529f57e44 free() copt @4000000040d064e309b511bc server ended; result=0 @4000000040d064e309b52544 free() copt @4000000040d068e50cc6e59c server ended; result=0 @4000000040d068e5149153d4 free() copt @4000000040d06c9d09366fc4 server ended; result=0 @4000000040d06c9d09368f04 free() copt @4000000040d06d4e00af25e4 server ended; result=0 @4000000040d06d4e00af3d54 free() copt @4000000040d06fd300f1d04c server ended; result=0 @4000000040d06fd300f1eba4 free() copt @4000000040d074461b57987c server ended; result=0 @4000000040d074461b57ac04 free() copt     Thoughts?   Thanks,   --Mike
