I already had a program checking every 30 seconds to see if they were 
running -- I had to cut it down to 10 seconds on Monday it was dieing so 
often.  Usually however it only has to restart things once every few days. 
Monday was just weird.

And then it was fine all day yesterday, both on the 0.72 and 0.73 machines. 
Very weird.
