Well, it's good to know I'm not alone. Just to clarify: What is your clamav version? What is your OS? I experienced some really regular hanging all last week, and I think I found the email that causes the problem, but I can't reproduce it yet. My experience with Bacula on FreeBSD leads me to suspect a pthreads (libc_r) bug, but it may very well just be a ClamAV bug.
