Simplest would probably be a cron job to run freshclam followed by scp to the firewalled machines. Keep in mind: 1. There's nothing special about the signatures - they're just files which need dumping into the appropriate directory. 2. There's nothing special about collecting them from the authoritative servers - it's just an http request (ie: if you don't want to run freshclam, you could use wget etc).
