--------------

I finally got to make clamd and clamav-milter to work! It has been working
since this morning and has catched more than 800 infected emails through the
day, but I have a couple of questions:

- clamav-milter seams to hang when the server has a high load of email
traffic, it happened three times during the day, though it does not stop
working, it takes a long time to scan outgoing and incoming mails. When I do
service clamav-milter status I can see about 15/20 pids. I kill all
processes and start the service again so clamav-milter doesn't hang. My
first question: is there a way I can avoid this issue? Maybe a tweak on
clamd.conf? I increased the MaxThreads to 100 and it seamed to help, though
it did hang one more time after that. Or should I set a cron to killall and
start every hour or so?

- Is there a way I can log the sender's IP somewhere? I would like it to be
on clamd.log or on the hostmaster's email but I don't know if it's possible
and how. I've seen some info that could help on /var/log/maillog, but there
is too much information to handle it without a script or something!!

I would appreciate any advise

Thanks

Cecilia
