Hmm, 'cleaning' is not an option, unless I am behind the news, but detection should work. But I think this virus is called Worm.Somefool.XX (I'm not sure about the XX) by ClamAv. How did you arrive at your conclusion that ClamAv doesn't detect it? Any tests you did? Hi All, Sorry for saying clamav does not clean. I know that clamav does not clean, but clamav did not detect [EMAIL PROTECTED] My XP w/s is loaded with symantec anti virus and it detected the virus but it did not clean either, yes it Quarantined. When I see virus history log, I see it as file called swimmingpool.txt.scr. Looks like it's a new virus which was detected on Aril 16th, details are at http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[EMAIL PROTECTED] html Another new virus details: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/[EMAIL PROTECTED] tml Thanks PAd ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
