Using your instructions above with Jeff Workman's additional configure
flags I can build clamd. It will load properly and also return the
version when requested. All other attempts to communicate with clamd
fail. Cannot use clamdscan or ping (not sure whether this is possible
when loaded as a socket). I have built it on three different boxes
today with the same results. To build clamd at all I must run the
configure script as follows with Tomasz two variables above.
./configure --without-tcpwrappers --disable-cr
Without the variables above or using --disable-pthreads it will not
compile clamd. All other daemons and programs build, just not clamd.

Is there any other testing that I can do to help provide more
information? Verbose logging adds nothing to help. Once it loads, it
appears to be non-functional. Thanks in advance.
