You have to ensure you do the following, in order: 1) Add the entry to the .mc file (in your case freebsd.mc) 2) Rebuild the .cf file from the .mc file. In your case typing make should update freebsd.cf. 3) Copy the new .cf file to sendmail.cf. In your case "cp freebsd.cf sendmail.cf". 4) Restart sendmail. I'd strongly suggest you read up on sendmail (see http://www.sendmail.org/m4/readme.html or cf/README) as you're obviously unsure as to what you're doing. PLEASE - keep list traffic on the list.
