Thanks for the advice, I was probably missing the --mbox option. I rescanned it, and came up with Worm.SomeFool.Gen1 I have added the daemon notify for clamd as well.

Sounds like your configuration is not correct. Probably either freshclam isn't notifying clamd of updates, you haven't configured the freshclam.conf file, you haven't used --mbox option to clamscan, or you haven't configured clamdscan to scan the type of file you are sending it.
