Using ClamAV with CGPAV with these settings:
infected_action = discard sender_notification = false recipients_notification = true
the log files show the message being discarded, but the recipient is not being notified.
If I switch infected_action to reject, then both the sender and the recipient are notified even though I have sender_notification turned off.
I cannot locate any other conf file for clam, so I'm presuming this is the one I should be mucking with. (The person who originally installed clamav/cgpav is no longer here, and he naturally didn't leave me any info. :-P)
We need to be able to notify our users that we deleted their infected messages, but I'm tired of my queue being crufted up with bounced virus notifications to fake senders. Yet setting infected_action = reject is the only thing that is giving my users the notification they want. :-/
Any ideas what is going on here?
