I know this was a topic of discussion, but searching the archives I did
not find a final resolution.

Can clamscan/clamd be configured to produce an error when it cannot
successfully uncompress a file?

I am using Clamav and qmail-scanner to analyze email. The email-gateway
is allowing many infected attachments to come through because the
attached zip file is password protected. Once successfully unzipped
clamscan does detect the virus.
