I installed the clamav-milter and it works fine, beside the fact how it reacts
to found viri.

I'd like the milter to send out a short report to the local postmaster only and
not sent a report to the sender or to the recipient.

According to the docs this should be achieved using the -bNP options.
Unfortunately this seems not to work on my system. The postmaster receives a
message, but also the sender (which is faked in 95% ..)

Details:
I start the milter with:

clamav-milter -HflNbPo -m 20 -U /data/mail/clamav-quarantine
/var/run/clamav/clamdmilter.sock

and the sender of a virus receives the following mail back:

==========================================================
A message you sent to
    <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
contained a virus and has not been delivered.
    /data/mail/clamav-quarantine/msg.2K5skR: Worm.SCO.A-dam FOUND
The message in question has been quarantined as
/data/mail/clamav-quarantine/msg.2K5skR

The message was received by goldfisch.at from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

For your information, the original message headers were:

Received: (qmail 6267 invoked by uid 0); 27 Feb 2004 12:30:24 -0000
Received: from 62.99.146.117 by www5.gmx.net with HTTP;

A second thing here is that the -H flag does not include the full headers in the
mail. Only the first received-header seems to be included.

thnx,
peter

ps: is there any difference in efficiency using clamav as malter or via amavis?
