It's actually a well-established idea - using viruses to patch vulnerable
machines.

It's not done to help you.  Sorry.  It's done to protect the Internet from
your machine.  If your machine is vulnerable, it can be used by anyone to
send spam or viruses around the internet.

"Patching" viruses are like vigilante justice.  But since there are no
Internet cops, it's the only justice the Internet has.  If you get hit by
Welchia, be thankful you didn't get hit by something scarier first.
