After start qmail-smtpd clamuko (clamdscan) get many virus and everything is ok, whith qmail-smtp working fast and clamuko working very fast (like 0.802478 secs) but a few time later, suddenly clamd became too slow (like 155.37148 secs) and lots of process of clamd do the server reach the maximum qmail-smtpd limit.
The processes in ps are like the following: qscand 17803 0.0 0.0 2072 616 ? S 15:14 0:00 /usr/bin/clamdscan -r --disable-summary --max-recursion=10 --max-space=1000000 /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/nameremoved107660967046117799 qscand 17808 0.0 0.0 2072 616 ? S 15:14 0:00 /usr/bin/clamdscan -r --disable-summary --max-recursion=10 --max-space=1000000 /var/spool/qmailscan/tmp/nameremoved107660967046117798 I had checked top and free and everithing is ok, the only problem is a lot of processes of clamdscan It occurs the same way if I put few (10) or a lot (80) of smtp connections limit in the qmail smtp run script. The problem stop only if I stop and start clamd, but in a few time it occurr again. Does someone have any idea?
