Hey Nigel, ok changing the settings in clamav.conf did not solve the problem. and i do trying to run it as root.
Here is some more info: the previous development version with current settings - was worknig just fine (and creating socket in /var/run) also the stable version before 0.66 was working great too! this is where i'm getting stuck ;-) may be it's a bug? if i change the socket of milter to /tmp/ it is working good. but i need it to be in /var/run/ thanks a lot guys!
