Okay, I'm using a self compiled sendmail 8.12.10 with auth smtp. Now auth smtp works fine until you plug clamav-milter in, in fact with it plugged in but not running it still works. However as soon as you activate clamav-milter (run clamd and the clamav-milter) boom authentication via auth smtp to relay outgoing email no longer works.
this is 0.65 with milter 0.60 If is anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I've tried slight mods to the authentication options and such in the sendmail.cf but no luck so far. I'm pretty handy with sendmail but not sure exactly where its failing.
