Simplest solution is not to bother with the cvd step - just leave the 
signatures as the older format db files and put them in your normal 
signatures directory (any name ending in .db? will do ("?" there means any 
character, or none)) - they'll get picked up and used alongside the genuine 
cvd sig files.
