I removed both --with-db* configure options and recompiled (something I remember now was that it wouldn't compile without them back when I first got started with clam). It compiled just fine. I've installed and restarted everything and all's well. I now have a main.cvd and I've removed the viruses.db file. Oddly enough freshclam downloaded a mirrors.txt when I restarted freshclam. Anyhow, it looks to be working great. Thanks!
