Everytime I have seen this error message it has been because of a Dazuko problem, either needed to be re-compiled or because of a left over file that needed to be deleted. I use this exact setup on our webservers. It will compile with the standard RH8 without any problem. You do need to use Dazuko version 1.2.2 if you are using the lastest RH8 kernel. You also need to re-compile Dazuko every time you update the kernel. You must also have the kernel source loaded for Dazuko to compile. You can also get clamd and/or dazuko in a partial state where files exist. Try stoping dazuko and clamd and then deleting the following files: /tmp/clamd /dev/dazuko Now restart dazuko, dazuko node, and then clamd Clamuko is only needed if you want to do realtime scanning of file, such as your website so that is a customer uploads an infected file that it won't be served out to their customers. If you just want clamd to run without Clamuko then put a # in front of the ClamukoScanOnLine in the clamav.conf file. In my install it is located at /usr/local/etc/clamav.conf -- Lloyd Albin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Perforce Software.
