clamav-milter inherits the settings from clamd, so make sure your clamav.conf (in /etc or /usr/local/etc I guess) shouldn't contain this directive or it should be commented out.Ehm, I think I run with -b last time and therefor they got this mail all the time. Well restarting clamav-milter and now I have another problem... How do I start in background? Dont remember doing anything special last time I started it but no I get this in the terminal :
clamfi_connect: connection from linux [127.0.0.1] clamfi_connect: connection from xxx.xxxx.xx [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] and so on.. as soon as someone uses the sock I see this...
I've tried killing the process, removing /var/run/clmilter.clt and start it all over. First time I start clmilter.clt nothing happends... check ps aux |grep clmilter and gets no processes. So i start again, and then the processes are there but it keeps telling me clamfi_connect - thing all the time.
Help please! :) -Patrik
Your version is quite old, and the 0.60 release was quite unstable. Please upgrade to 0.65 (or better, compile from CVS).
[...] linux:/etc# /usr/sbin/clamav-milter --version /usr/sbin/clamav-milter version 0.60
