I saw a few messages in the archive and from a google search regarding this, but still could not resolve my issue, so I have turned here hoping someone could help.
I am running ClamAV 0.65 via MIMEDefang 2.38. It picks off the EICAR test when embedded in the body, but not as an attachment (have tried with it in a Word doc - which when scanned by my desktop scanner finds it fine). I have MIME::Base64, MIME::Parser and Mail::Internet, among others installed. When the EICAR test is found in the body it prints it out in /var/log/maillog, but my regular scans are never written there. I have the logging turned on and verbose enabled to log to /tmp/clamd.log. This doesn't provide as much info as I was hoping. Can anyone help me out here?
