I seem to be seeing this even on some 3.3 machines (my own), with clamav and other ports (mysql at least). I am not quite sure what is causing the problem at this point. I know I did a binary upgrade on the machine from 3.1 to 3.3. Over Thanksgiving weekend I should have time to get a machine running local here to test it out.

I have two OpenBSD 3.4-stable machines. One compiled clam 0.65 without problem. Another did not.
Here is the output from the make:
