You can probably not. I've written a client who get data from standart input and send it to clamd server across the network. I use it with procmail on my mail without trouble even when clamd has crashed, you can get it from ftp://victor.teaser.fr/pub/lwa/clamd-stream-client/ It only displays the virus name if any and returns with a sendmail like exit code. It runs on FreeBSD 5 but should be portable. Clamav is not needed for compilation. It just need some clamd servers on your network, so you may drop clients easily on each host. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: ApacheCon 2003, 16-19 November in Las Vegas.
