Attached is a script
which will perform a couple tweaks that allow clamav-0.65 to compile on OpenBSD
3.4. There's nothing clever going on, I'm just collecting the various steps
in one place.
I do not intend to
detract from the unofficial OpenBSD port by Flinn Mueller at http://activeintra.net/projects/clamav/ My
main reason for building it myself is to get milter support.
If you have a
pristine clamav-0.65 directory, then you can just "bash buildclam.sh" and
everything will be happy. There are a few preconditions, in particular
installing GNU MP and building sendmail with milter. These are noted in the
script.
I've run clamscan
and clamd+clamdscan against the virus signatures and they worked as
expected. I fired up the milter and it started fine. I have not actually
configured the milter for use yet, so I can't say anything about
it.
