I just installed the latest (20031106) snapshot. I'm scanning from Exim and Exiscan and running some stress tests with 'postal'. Clamd runs great for a random number of minutes(or seconds, it never lasts very long) and then just seems to lock and I get the following:

Since the clamd log file isn't very verbose, I compiled it with debugging and set 'Foreground' in the config file. It runs forever in this mode and never locks! But when I unset Foreground and restart, it starts locking again. I got the same behavior with the 20031104 snapshot I tried the other day. I'm on Debian stable with gcc 2.95.4 and glibc 2.2.5.
