I am running the latest snapshot that Tomasz sent to the list on FreeBSD 4.9-STABLE. The main difference between my setup and yours are .. 1. I have disabled both ScanMail and ScanArchive. I don't know what I am losing by that, since I still haven't gotten the docs that detail what those two options do, but one tough question by Tomasz one morning made me to disable ScanMail. ScanArchive has always been disabled in my setup because I was made to understand the code was flaky (at some point). 2. I use supervise (daemontools) to monitor clamd. A howto is in the archives of this list. I am running http://clamav.sf.net/snapshot/clamav-20031106-tk.tar.gz for 2 days now and it hasn't crashed so far.. cheers - wash +----------------------------------+-----------------------------------------+ Odhiambo Washington .
