That's good news, but, unfortunately, if I actually mail the file to
myself, it still isn't picked up.  I'm using amavis-perl11 (I know, I
know, but it works with other weird stuff on our system), but I've never
had any trouble with it before.

I'll keep playing around to see what happens.
