i have been running clamAV with Amavisd-new on a postfix mail server and have never faced any problems in scanning zip files. Is this just a issue with the stand alone version ? clamscan / ClamAV version 0.60.with amavisd-new-20030616

In my setups, I also use clamav this way (in conjunction with amavisd-new and spamassassin) at a number of clients, one of which is a small ISP. Rock stable, but PERL (a bit slow and error consuming).
