On my production boxes.... [EMAIL PROTECTED] ('tty') ~ 4 -> clamd --version clamd / ClamAV version 20030720 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ('tty') ~ 5 -> uname -mr 4.9-PRERELEASE i386 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ('tty') ~ 6 -> Every other version is unstable (for me)! I am testing the 20030826 version on 5.1-RELEASE. It's been up 4 days, but this is not a busy box. I'd suggest clamav-20030720. Try it and see if the same thing happens Any snapshots after that date (CVS) do not compile on FreeBSD 5.1-REL. I have tried to compile them, but they fail like so: Making all in clamd source='server.c' object='server.o' libtool=no depfile='.deps/server.Po' tmpdepfile='.deps/server.TPo' depmode=gcc3 /bin/bash ../depcomp gcc -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DPACKAGE=\"clamav\" -DVERSION=\"20030829\" -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -DHAVE_SYS_TYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_STAT_H=1 -DHAVE_STDLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_STRING_H=1 -DHAVE_MEMORY_H=1 -DHAVE_STRINGS_H=1 -DHAVE_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_STDINT_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DHAVE_DLFCN_H=1 -DBUFFSIZE=131072 -DFBUFFSIZE=16384 -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -DHAVE_STDINT_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DHAVE_DLFCN_H=1 -DHAVE_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_MEMORY_H=1 -DHAVE_STDLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_STRINGS_H=1 -DHAVE_STRING_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_MMAN_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_PARAM_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_STAT_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_TYPES_H=1 -DSIZEOF_SHORT=2 -DSIZEOF_INT=4 -DSIZEOF_LONG=4 -DHAVE_ZLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_BZLIB_H=1 -DCLAMD_USE_SYSLOG=1 -DCLAMAVUSER=\"clamav\" -DCLAMAVGROUP=\"mail\" -DC_BIGSTACK=1 -DDB1NAME=\"viruses.db\" -DDB2NAME=\"viruses.db2\" -DDATADIR=\"/usr/local/share/clamav\" -DCONFDIR=\"/usr/local/etc\" -DC_URANDOM=1 -DCL_THREAD_SAFE=1 -DC_BSD=1 -DWORDS_LITTLEENDIAN=1 -I. -I. -I../clamscan -I../libclamav -g -O2 -c `test -f 'server.c' || echo './'`server.c server.c: In function `sighandler': server.c:620: `sighup' undeclared (first use in this function) server.c:620: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once server.c:620: for each function it appears in.) *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/home/wash/Downloads/Exim/clamav-devel-20030915/clamd. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/home/wash/Downloads/Exim/clamav-devel-20030915. -Wash -- Odhiambo Washington <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "The box said 'Requires Wananchi Online Ltd. www.wananchi.com Windows 95, NT, or better,' Tel: +254 2 313985-9 +254 2 313922 so I installed FreeBSD."
