here is the /var/spool/exim/log/mainlog 2003-09-17 12:34:01 19zZdJ-0000K5-2M demime acl condition: error while creating mbox spool file 2003-09-17 12:34:01 19zZdJ-0000K5-2M H=(hotmail.com) [64.4.15.14] F=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> temporarily rejected after DATA had to change the permissions on the /var/spool/exim/scan directory exim runs as xadmin clam runs under clamav. so i made the scan directory perms as clamav xadmin. clamav has been added to etc/groups as part of the xadmin group.
