If you are saying that the tests failed (i.e. clamav didnt find any virus in your email) then you are correct. I just tried it and all tests sent the file straight thru with nothing in the log to tell me it was a virus. (Sorry i just joined the list and didnt see the initial post.
I am using clamdscan / ClamAV version 0.60+BugFixesFromCVS-20030905 on debian unstable and have the same problem. command line scanning works, but mailscanner isnt working.
