How much is a high load? I normally get 13,000 or so e-mails a day.

I run postfix, sending mail to amavis-new which checks spamassassin,
Razor, and clamscan. It takes 10-30 seconds to run each e-mail through,
but I can run 30 in parallel, so I seldom have any queueing problems.

I'm running Mandrake 9.1 on a Dual P-III 1.2 with a small raid array and
a couple of gig of RAM. This box just filters the mail and sends it off
to another box for final consumption. And, in general, it's bored. But
it sure finds the viri...
On my primary box:
      2 INFECTED (Exploit.IFrame.Gen, Worm.BugBear.B)
      2 INFECTED (Exploit.IFrame.Gen, Worm/Klez.H)
      1 INFECTED (Worm.Dumaru)
    693 INFECTED (Worm.Sobig.F)
      2 INFECTED (Worm/Klez.H)
On my secondary box (same the first, except it is an athlon 2.4 with
512M of ram, and no raid)
      1 INFECTED (Worm.Dumaru)
   1010 INFECTED (Worm.Sobig.F)
