I'm having trouble
getting a CVS snapshot to compile on a RH9 system. I've never had a
problem compiling any of the releases before, and I'm currently running
0.60. However, when I've tried to compile a CVS snapshot, it keeps
erroring out during the compile. I tried with the 06-25 snapshot, and
again today with the 07-05 snapshot. Both are giving the same
error:
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -g
-O2 -o clamscan clamscan.o options.o getopt.o others.o
manager.o treewalk.o -L../libclamav -lclamav
mkdir .libs
libtool: link: cannot find the library `'
make[1]: *** [clamscan] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/download/clamav/cvs snapshots/clamav-20030705/clamscan'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
mkdir .libs
libtool: link: cannot find the library `'
make[1]: *** [clamscan] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/download/clamav/cvs snapshots/clamav-20030705/clamscan'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
Does anybody
know why I can't get the snapshots to compile on RH9, and any suggestions for
what I can do to fix this? I'd really like to get a version newer than
0.60 running, as I'm still seeing problems w/freshclam freezing up from time to
time, and I understand there have been some changes to freshclam since 0.60,
like mirrors and whatnot.
Thx!
