It seems that the virus database is not synchronized between update sites. This is what I get depending on site selected: Site: clamav.essentkabel.com Database updated (containing in total 7822 signatures). Database updated from clamav.essentkabel.com. Site: clamav.elektrapro.com Database updated (containing in total 7829 signatures). Database updated from clamav.elektrapro.com. Site: clamav.linux-sxs.org Database updated (containing in total 7820 signatures). Database updated from clamav.linux-sxs.org. Site: clamav.ozforces.com Database updated (containing in total 7820 signatures). Database updated from clamav.ozforces.com. Depending on which site freshclam chooses it will download new DB, since the MD5 is different between sites. I understand there is an update routine distributing the DB among the sites. This mail is only sent in case the delay in synchronization is not intentionally - the test was repeated after 30 minutes. Best regards, Diego d'Ambra
