The latest snapshot seems to be very stable under BSD. Ken McKittrick has provided me with a full access to a FreeBSD 4.8 box for extensive clamav testing. I'm also testing it under my FreeBSD 5.0 and everything looks fine, but my main testing rule is: No crash for a week. Some time ago I received a bug report on AIX - in case of this system I suggest the --enable-bigstack flag in ./configure, however the real reason of clamd crash is not known.
I don't have access and am not familiar with OpenBSD, so I hope Flinn will create a patch for that -lc_r problem ;) Clamav compiles under NetBSD but clamd is disabled by default - does NetBSD support POSIX threads ?
