First I must admit, I have never used a Unix socket before *blushes* I use Exim 4.14 and Exiscan .26 and the latest ClamAV. I have installed everything as the documentation suggests and everything works. Clamscan works fine, clamd in tcp/ip mode works fine, exiscan is working fine, etc... But for some reason I can *not* get Clamd to work in socket mode!
When I try to send mail I get an SMTP 450 error (local error, error parsing program output) and when I try to echo stuff to the socket using > or | I get a permissions error. The socket has clamav.clamav ownership and is in a directory it can write to. Any ideas?
