Actually I believe I am doing the right thing here. Here is what happens:

I don't have a 'true' anti-virus on my system. I use exim's system filter
which traps all mail with executable content and saves them to a file in
an mbox file format.

This are the files I am playing around with. There is enough evidence of
klez worm in those files, but scanning with clamscan on my FreeBSD box
just groks. And it's those files I use --mbox option to scan. No exiscan,
no Amavis involved as yet.
