ClamAV does not detect the WM97\Claud.A Word macro virus. The virus database
lists it as an included signature, but Clam doesn't detect it in any of the
infected documents we've tested. I submitted it to VirusTotal and every other
vendor detected it, except ClamAV. I uploaded a sample document to ClamAV's
virus database.
Is there a reason this is happening? Are there other Macro viruses that Clam
claims to know about that it doesn't detect. Is this the right list to ask
this question?
