Hi Lee, I thought that with these 12400's the MTU setting must include Ethernet headerss (Source, Destination and Ethertype is 14 bytes) so its 1514 for a 1500 byte payload size plus headers. The 6500 is set to 1500 bytes because it adds 14 bytes on for the frame headers.
