Hi, Are you trying to create an L3 termination point into a VRF that would be fed by a VPLS-enabled interface using a loop cable?
If so, that should work - but there is a more elegant solution depending on your code/hardware called "Routed Pseudowire" http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2sr/release/notes/122SRrn.html#wp3970796 HTH.....
