Dear forum members, Thanks you all for your quick response.
Hermann, I got the impression from the Secrets of Cinelerra that using mpeg3toc was only necessary for render farms. I remember there were toc files made the first time I loaded the mpg files. These are all stored in the .bcast folder. I ran mpeg3toc for the original MOV040.MOD file and loaded this MOV040.MOD.toc file in Cinelerra. Unfortunately the cars still jump back an forth in the viewer window. You can reproduce it with the frame-by-frame playback button, so it is not due to an overloaded system. I did not render it. Scott, Your suggestion to use CinMonty takes a little more effort, but I'll try. At least, I did not notice jerky behaviour playing the MOD file in ffplay but that's no guarantee. Like I said, it plays correctly on all known (to me) players. I placed the (one of) the troubled files MOV040.MOD straight from the camera on https://www.strongspace.com/shared/lex2k41pvt for you to try in your movie editor. Please watch out for blurred frames at approx 1.4 sec. YosepkeY, I also tried your suggestion (opening in Avidemux and save as mpg). Unfortunately it does change anything. Yours Sincerely, Sape _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
