This is a nice option for sharing Cinelerra videos.

Bad news:
Vimeo uses Flash player by default.
Good news:
Vimeo (just like Youtube) offers an alternative HTML5 player.
To enjoy the feature you need to install Chromium (with h264 support) or
Chrome.
To enable the HTML5 player, click the "Switch to HTML5 player" link
below any video (on the page dedicate to the video, not on thumbnails,
links or embedded players).

Vimeo has Creative Commons tagging support.
Vimeo subscribers can freely download videos, either with traditional
Copyright or Creative Commons.
The terms of use (that used to be quite nasty) are now compatible with
Creative Commons licenses.
