For people using archlinux, here's a PKGBUILD for Monty's patched version of cinelerra, that can be installed alongside "regular" cinelerra-cv. Everything is put under /opt, so you've just to run '/opt/bin/cinelerra' to use it instead of "regular" cinelerra. The PKGBUILD is based on the one in "community" and the patches needed to compile on archlinux are in http://repos.archlinux.org/wsvn/community/cinelerra-cv/trunk/. I hope it will help some other people to test Monty's patchset.

I've also needed to fix a few bugs in ffmpeg itself. In order to disseminate the patches a bit more seamlessly, I've put up a copy of my working GIT repository for now: http://git.xiph.org/?p=users/xiphmont/cinelerraCV.git;a=summary The goal is to continue debugging and see this rolled into mainline, so this is not intended to be a permanent source. But it will be around for a while. I've also stashed the individual patches to date at: http://people.xiph.org/~xiphmont/cinelerra/patches/ Monty _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
