do i understand right that you want to switch cinelerra versions
from heroine's "official" to the community version?

so the problem is, you have worked on some mpg file
with one version, and now the other one cannot open the same mpg file?
if so, try the following:

delete the .toc files from .bcast, then load the .mpg into cinelerra
(without trying to generate a new .toc, no need for mpeg3toc or such).
cinelerra will then generate its own .toc file into ~/.bcast/

please report whether it works then.
